- As an Organic Social Media Manager at GoFish Digital, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing dynamic organic social media strategies for a diverse portfolio of client accounts. This role is pivotal in ensuring our clients not only maintain a strong online presence but also thrive by leveraging the ever-evolving landscape of social platforms. You will be the driving force behind the day-to-day organic social execution, meticulously managing content calendars, crafting compelling posts, and ensuring each brand's voice and strategy are consistently and effectively communicated across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and emerging channels.
- Your core responsibility will be to translate overarching marketing objectives into robust, always-on organic content strategies. This involves a delicate balance of planning for major campaigns, developing evergreen content that resonates over time, and capitalizing on real-time opportunities as they arise. You will be expected to possess a keen eye for emerging trends, cultural moments, and competitive insights, proactively using this knowledge to inform content ideation and optimization. The goal is to ensure our clients remain relevant, engaging, and ahead of the curve in fast-moving social environments.
- Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Paid Media, Creative, Owned Media, and Client Strategy, to bring integrated campaigns to life. This requires a strong attention to detail, ensuring brand voice consistency, managing approval processes efficiently, and maintaining publishing accuracy across all content.
- Performance monitoring and reporting are integral to success. You will be responsible for tracking key metrics, building client-ready reports, and translating complex analytics into clear, actionable recommendations. These insights will be crucial for improving engagement, expanding reach, and enhancing the overall effectiveness of our clients' organic content efforts.
- As a client-facing lead, you will actively participate in client calls, provide regular content and performance updates, and build strong, trusting relationships through proactive communication and consistently high-quality delivery. Your ability to articulate strategy, present results, and manage expectations will be paramount.
- Beyond core content execution, you may also support community management initiatives, conduct social listening to uncover insights and engagement opportunities, assist with lightweight creative production, and help coordinate influencer and creator collaborations to further strengthen our clients' organic programs.
- Your day-to-day will involve meticulous Content Planning & Publishing: managing and updating multiple client content calendars simultaneously, writing engaging captions tailored to specific platforms and brand voices, and scheduling, QA-ing, and publishing content using various social media management tools. You'll also be adept at repurposing existing assets into platform-native formats such as Reels, TikToks, and carousels, maximizing content reach and engagement.
- A significant part of your role will be Trend Mining & Proactive Ideation: daily monitoring of platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn for emerging trends, bringing proactive content ideas and reactive opportunities to internal teams, and identifying culturally relevant moments that align with client brand positioning. Leveraging social listening tools will be essential for uncovering engagement opportunities.
- You will also be responsible for Performance Monitoring & Optimization: reviewing platform analytics to identify high- and low-performing content, pulling key insights for weekly and monthly reporting, and iterating on content formats, hooks, cadence, and messaging based on performance data. Leading quarterly planning sessions will ensure ongoing brand alignment and strategic direction.
- Client & Internal Collaboration will be a constant: joining client calls and internal syncs to align on strategy and upcoming campaigns, managing approvals, feedback, and revisions across multiple stakeholders, and collaborating with creative, paid media, and strategy teams on integrated initiatives. You will also serve as a subject matter expert, contributing to new business opportunities by showcasing your organic social expertise.
- This role demands a true 'hands-on keyboard' mindset, requiring a deep understanding of mainstream and emerging social media platforms, their best practices, formats, and algorithm-driven content behaviors. You must possess excellent social copywriting skills, a strong sense of brand voice and audience nuance, and the ability to adapt your approach across diverse brands and industries. Familiarity with lightweight creative tools and a comfort with social analytics, reporting, and performance interpretation are essential. Your detail-oriented nature, coupled with a test-and-learn mindset, will drive continuous improvement. Confidence in client-facing environments and strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial for success in this dynamic and impactful role.
