About The Role

Aquila Technology is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join our team in supporting one of the country's premier defense research organizations. The Senior Linux Systems Administrator will be responsible for performing systems administration on Red Hat 8/9 servers, Red Hat Identity Management (IdM), and Red Hat Ansible Automation. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate experience in server performance optimization, cyber security, OS and application patching, McAfee suite, scripting, storage, and disaster recovery.

There Are a Few Requirements For The Position

Must be a U.S Citizen- Must have an Active Secret Clearance (Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)

5 years - Networking Applications and Protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, NTP, DHCP, SSH, FTP and HTTP/S.
5 years - SSH Server implementation, Linux Networking Configuration, Host Based Firewall, Web Server

5 years - Scripting Experience: Python, Ansible, TCL or Bash
