About This Opportunity
InComm Healthcare is seeking a Software Engineer I (Full Stack) to join our engineering team. This position is for developers who want hands‑on experience building modern, cloud‑based applications with a strong emphasis on SQL‑driven systems and data management.
In this role, you will support our transition from legacy, monolithic applications to a modern architecture using Single Page Applications, service‑based design, and Microsoft Azure, while learning how data is designed, managed, and consumed across enterprise healthcare systems.
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to application development as part of a cross‑functional Agile/Scrum team
  • Assist with building and enhancing features across the frontend, backend, and database layers
  • Collaborate with business and technical partners to understand requirements and data needs
  • Write and maintain SQL queries and data access logic to support application functionality
  • Support data management practices, including working with relational data models and data‑driven workflows
  • Help design and document APIs, workflows, user interfaces, and data models
  • Participate in the modernization of existing applications and data processes
  • Learn and apply best practices related to data management, security, performance, and maintainability
  • Gain familiarity with healthcare systems, data flows, and business processes
  • Communicate progress, questions, and ideas clearly within the team
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0-2 years of professional, internship, or academic software development experience
  • Exposure to full stack development concepts
  • Foundational understanding of SQL and relational databases, including:
    • Basic SQL query development
    • Understanding tables, relationships, and schemas
    • Supporting data‑driven application workflows and data management needs
  • Experience with or academic exposure to C# and .NET
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Familiarity with Git‑based source control
  • Strong interest in learning modern development tools, cloud platforms, and data‑centric application design
Technology Stack (Experience Not Required In All Areas)
Backend
  • .NET 6+ / ASP.NET Core
  • RESTful APIs
  • Entity Framework Core or similar ORM
Frontend
  • React, Angular, or Vue (exposure preferred)
  • HTML5 and CSS3
Data
  • Microsoft SQL Server or Azure SQL
  • SQL query development, performance tuning, and data management
Cloud & DevOps
  • Microsoft Azure
  • CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools
