HG are recruiting HGV 1 Drivers to work with our client based in Hemel Hempstead working on a long term/temp to perm basis. Start times will be from 2200-0000 with no Saturday night working.

Rates HGV Class 1

£16.81, up to £28.29 per hour (Pre Parity)
£16.81, up to £47.15 per hour (Parity)

Rates HGV Class 2

£16.24-£20.71ph

You will be required to carry out a maximum of 3 deliveries of palletised goods in any one shift. You will be loading and unloading your vehicle using tail lift & either a manual or electric pump truck. Ensuring deliveries are carried out safely on a day to day basis.

The Role

Maximum of 3drops/collections per day for Class 1 or max. 12 for Class 2.
Loading and unloading vehicle.

The Requirements

HGV Class 1 or Class 2license New Pass Welcome
HGV licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working Time Directive
Excellent geographical knowledge
Customer focused attitude.
