Title: SAP Project Manager

Summary

We need a hands-on specialist to lead and execute tasks associated with our SAP S/4HANA upgrade in a RISE environment. The ideal resource has successfully navigated at least one S/4 upgrade, operates comfortably within SAP for Me, and applies SAP Activate methodology end-to-end (Discover → Prepare → Explore → Realize → Deploy → Run).

ore Responsibilities

  • Own workstreams for the S/4HANA RISE upgrade (planning, cutover readiness, execution support, hypercare).
  • Apply SAP Activate best practices, accelerators, and governance across project phases.
  • Coordinate fit-to-standard workshops, backlog creation, and sprint execution.
  • Manage integration impact assessments and remediation (e.g., interfaces, extensions, Fiori).
  • Collaborate with Basis, Security, Data, and Functional teams on readiness and cutover.
  • Operate within SAP for Me for environment visibility, provisioning coordination, and support ticketing.
  • Document deliverables (runbooks, test plans, cutover plans, risk logs) and drive sign‑offs.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years SAP experience, including 1+ full-cycle SAP S/4HANA upgrade (preferably on RISE).
  • Practical application of SAP Activate methodology (artifacts, governance, cadence).
  • Proficiency with SAP for Me (landscape navigation, entitlements, system status, support).
  • Strong coordination across cross-functional teams (Basis, Security, Functional, Integration).
  • Proven delivery of cutover planning/execution and post-go‑live hypercare.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Fiori activation and role design in upgrade contexts.
  • Data migration approach familiarity (e.g., SUM/DMO considerations, archiving).
  • Understanding of cloud integrations and extensions (BTP preferred).
  • Regulated or complex enterprise environment experience.

Compensation

$70/hr to $75/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
