Responsibilities

The Associate IT Specialist will be a collaborative member of the Business Solutions Group (BSG) Teams, delivering service solutions that satisfy business and operations requirements through the implementation of leading best practices at the Macon Irving Tissue site. Thie position will have a direct report to the Macon Tissue Finance Manager but will also have a dotted line reporting to the Business Solutions Group Director. End to end resolution of customer incidents.

  • Execution of defined and specific customer service requests. Execution of defined and specific customer project tasks.
  • Execution of site reviews of assigned business facilities assigned by Finance Manager or Senior Technical Analyst. Provide timely service reporting.
  • Execution of field site preventative maintenance.
  • Execution of field site lifecycle activities for Desktop devices, endpoint network switching and Microsoft server hardware.

Qualifications

Education

  • University degree, college diploma in Information Technology or related field or relevant experience
  • 0-2 years of experience in IT environments (network, systems and end user)
  • CompTIA - A+
  • Dell Hardware Technician Support

Experience

  • Process or Underway Certifications: (Any) Cisco Certified Network Associate or Microsoft Certified Systems Associate
  • Six Sigma White Belt Certification
  • Expert knowledge of desktop applications: Windows 10, Windows 11, Teams, Office 365, Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Edge, Google, Chrome, SCCM Remote control, Apple OS
  • Expert knowledge of end user computing technologies: desktops, laptops, mobile devices, tablets (both android and Apple).
  • Knowledge of Video Conferencing technologies
  • Knowledge of server hardware, Microsoft Server Operating Systems and Cisco Edge Devices
