Description – Platform Developer

We are looking for a skilled Platform Developer with 10+ years of strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and DevOps practices. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure with a primary focus on automation, CI/CD, monitoring, and security. The candidate should have hands‑on expertise with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and be proficient in integrating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps. Exposure to Azure environments and tools like Jenkins or Artifactory will be an added advantage.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Terraform as the core IaC tool.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps for automated build and deployment.
• Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to ensure infrastructure reliability and performance.
• Enforce security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance standards across all Google Cloud Platform environments.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and data engineers to optimize deployment workflows and cloud utilization.
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and release management through GitHub.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure or deployment issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Integrate Artifactory and other DevOps tools to streamline artifact storage and deployment processes.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD and IaC governance frameworks.
• Continuously evaluate new tools and methods to improve platform efficiency and automation.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing Google Cloud Platform resources.
• Hands‑on expertise in Google Cloud Platform services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and IAM.
• Proficiency in GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps for CI/CD implementation.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Knowledge of security principles, secret management, and policy enforcement in Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Artifactory, Jenkins, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or Shell.
• Strong problem‑solving, automation mindset, and excellent collaboration skills.
