What’s a typical day as an Inventory Control Associate? You’ll be:

Job Description

• Audit and cycle counting inventory to keep systems in balance, investigate inventory discrepancies during daily order processing.
• Bin replenishment, material kitting, packaging, shipping and receiving functions.
• Reviews and analyzes stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions and recommends replenishment plan.
• Process rejected, expired, short dated and returned products, support Quality and Manufacturing with material being destroyed, reworked or quarantined.
• Resolve orders on hold for inventory status. In addition to rejected, expired, and short dated products, process material being destroyed, re-worked, or quarantined, Significant computer interface is required.
• Recommends improvement to inventory system where errors could affect the replenishment systems, financial position, credibility, or overall operation.
• Updates inventory records.
• Controls inventory accuracy and controls inventory levels by changing reorder points and par levels to meet changing demands.

Additional skills preferred

• MS Office knowledge, SAP, Outlook and basic computer knowledge.
• Someone who has good computer skills
• Multi-tasking ability
• Able to communicate with Customer Service
• Handle refunds
• Decontaminate products
• Handle bio- hazardous materials
• Discard products, must be able to
• work under pressure
• Detail oriented and organized.
