What You'll Do
You will oversee and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications across
various departments, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and user satisfaction.
You'll also play a key role in user support, troubleshooting, reporting, and
documentation, with opportunities to support broader IT transformation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration & User Management:
- Serve as the primary administrator for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment.
- Manage user accounts, including creating, disabling, and auditing user access.
- Configure and maintain security roles, permissions, and user groups to ensure users have appropriate access based on their job functions (Role-Based Access Control).
- Customize the D365 environment to meet evolving business needs. This includes configuring entities, forms, fields, views, and business rules.
- Develop and manage workflows, business process flows, and Power Automate flows to automate and streamline business processes.
- Manage the deployment of changes between different environments (e.g., from Sandbox to Production) to ensure smooth transitions.
- Create and customize dashboards and reports to provide key business insights to stakeholders.
- Proactively monitor system performance, uptime, and storage capacity to ensure optimal operation.
- Schedule and manage regular data backups and perform data restoration when required to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Stay current with Microsoft's release schedule, planning and executing system updates and patches with minimal disruption to users.
- Act as the first point of contact for all D365 user issues, providing timely troubleshooting and resolution.
- Diagnose, track, and manage technical issues, escalating to Microsoft Support when necessary.
- Develop user guides and training materials, and conduct training sessions to ensure users can effectively utilize the system.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 modules, customization tools, and integration points.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, user support experience, and documentation skills.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with a user-focused mindset.
