Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full-time AI/ML Software Engineer. In this role, you will be implementing
Machine Learning solutions and learning about
deep learning frameworks. The successful candidate will have experience with software development in C++ and Python, as well as familiarity with Agile development practices. Experience applying artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts, workflows, or software solutions to real-world problems is highly desired. The ideal candidate will understand how AI/ML capabilities can be integrated into larger software systems and mission applications. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and be eligible to obtain a government security clearance. This position is based at a facility requiring special access.

Ability to work remotely
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing efficient algorithms and performing analytical problem-solving using a numerical scripting language such as Python
- Familiarity with C++ and experience working within object-oriented software frameworks
- Active Top Secret clearance required; must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain SCI eligibility

Desired Skills
- Experience integrating AI/ML solutions into operational software and mission systems
- Understanding of how to transition AI/ML capabilities from development environments into deployed operational use
- Experience evaluating and optimizing real-time AI/ML performance, including latency, throughput, and resource constraints
- Familiarity with deploying AI/ML solutions in environments with real-time or near-real-time processing requirements
- Ability to assess AI/ML system performance in operational contexts and identify opportunities for improvement
- Experience with TensorRT and CUDA
