Cybersecurity Analyst - Risk & Compliance 💰 Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year

📝 Rquirements

• High School Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Security Operations, Cyber Security, and/or Systems Administration
• Proficiency in SIEM, IDS, EDR, and Case Management Tools
• Experience supporting operating systems, networking, scripting, automation, and troubleshooting Security Applications
• A current 8140 Certification and CompTIA Security+ credential
• Bachelors degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent practical knowledge (preferred)
• Familiarity with SOC systems/networks and supporting Security Detections Development (preferred)
• Competence in security alert tuning in collaboration with TIER 2 and TIER 3 Teams (preferred)
• Ability to create scripts for task automation (preferred)
• Experience developing Threat Reports, translating IOCs and alerts into narrative summaries (preferred)
• Understanding of local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN) and mobile computing environments (preferred)
• Knowledge of STIG and hardening procedures (preferred)
• An active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance

👩‍💻👨‍💻 Your responsibilities are

• Monitor the Operations Center IT infrastructure as part of a 24x7 mission critical SECOPs function
• Conduct event analysis using SIEM and develop response tickets utilizing case management tools
• Troubleshoot issues and work with TIER 2 Analysts for event escalation, adhering to established security playbooks
• Enhance our Security Posture through compliance with detection and response practices
• Maintain a customer-focused approach at all times
• Work Tuesday to Saturday from 3 PM to 11 PM, with the possibility of schedule changes based on business requirements
