This involves engaging readily with incoming and outgoing customers, ensuring the validity of receipts and retrieving unpaid merchandise. Key Aspects of Your Role

• Promptly identifying and resolving any unsafe situations
• Actively preventing theft through engaging with entering and exiting customers
• Reacting urgently to alarms to validate receipts, recover unpaid goods and handle alarms
• Using the company's negotiation techniques to minimise store disturbance
• Reporting and documenting any incidents of theft, safety issues or alarm related activities

Your Background (Qualifications)

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• 1-2 years experience in customer service or asset protection roles
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Capability to stay mobile for extended periods
• Ability to urgently respond to alerts
• Eager to learn and operate newly introduced technological solutions
• Skills in using technology for incident documentation and communication
• Willing to acquire and apply skills in negotiation and de-escalation techniques
• Constant awareness of product locations to aid customers effectively
• Ability to manage disputes successfully

Physical Requirements

• Limited instances of sitting
• Regular activities including standing, walking, crouching, bending, pushing, and pulling
• Minimal travel or overnight stays
• Normal or corrected vision and hearing capabilities
• Proficient in the English language - speaking, reading, and writing
• Capability to lift weights of 0-25 lbs. regularly
• Efficient utilization of fine motor hand functions
