Position: Film and Video Editor
Type: Independent Contractor
Compensation: $60–$100/hour
Location: US, UK, or Canada
Duration: 3–4 weeks
Commitment: 15+ hours/week
Role Responsibilities

• Design questions related to the Film and Video Editing occupation using professional experience.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure the quality and relevance of questions to improve AI model training.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to enhance training data quality.
• Utilize a desktop or laptop computer for project tasks (Chromebooks not supported).
  

Qualifications
Must-Have

• 4+ years full-time work experience as a Film and Video Editor.
• Be based in the US, UK, or Canada.
  

Compensation & Legal

• Industry-standard compensation expectations will be met.
• Paid weekly via Stripe Connect based on logged project hours.
• Classified as an at-will contractor to Mercor.
• Cannot support H1-B or STEM OPT status candidates.
