Summary
Join our innovative team as an AI Research Scientist focusing on robotics! In this role, you will push the boundaries of robot foundation models and create cutting-edge autonomous robot policies for intricate manipulation tasks. Responsibilities
- Develop advanced machine learning and computer vision models to elevate robotics research.
- Design and implement robust ML pipelines for training effective robot policies.
- Establish experimental protocols for data collection and robot policy assessment, and conduct detailed analysis of outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, with completion required before joining.
- Ph.D. in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience applying advanced AI techniques in robotics, including VLAs, imitation learning, and cross-embodiment transfer learning.
- 3+ years in deploying and evaluating robot policies effectively.
- 3+ years of expertise in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow, along with proficiency in Python programming.
Preferred Qualifications
- A strong portfolio of research contributions with publications in esteemed conferences and journals such as Robotics (RSS, ICRA, IROS, CoRL, T-RO, IJRR), Machine Learning (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, JMLR), and Computer Vision (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, TPAMI).
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and effective communication across diverse disciplines.
Compensation
$117,000/year to $173,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
