Job Description
Our client is a digital growth partner to major universities, helping higher education institutions attract and enroll students through data-driven digital marketing, content strategy, and performance optimization. They manage a large portfolio of university partner websites and are continuously evolving their SEO practices to align with AI-driven search experiences and changing discovery behaviors.
This role focuses on hands-on SEO execution across a complex multi-site ecosystem with strong collaboration across marketing, content, UX, and analytics teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Execute day-to-day SEO initiatives across assigned university partner websites
  • Conduct content audits to identify optimization opportunities, gaps, and alignment with search demand
  • Implement on-page SEO improvements including metadata, internal linking, keyword alignment, and content structure updates
  • Support technical SEO initiatives by identifying issues, validating fixes, and collaborating with engineering/platform teams
  • Evaluate parent university (.edu) properties for UX improvements and internal linking opportunities that improve discoverability
  • Monitor performance trends across rankings, traffic, and lead generation
  • Collaborate closely with SEO managers and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely execution
  • Maintain documentation, workflows, and optimization standards across a large multi-site portfolio
What Our Client Is Looking For
  • 2–4+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency, enterprise, or multi-site environments)
  • Strong execution skills across on-page, content, and technical SEO initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to identify optimization opportunities and improve organic performance
  • Comfort working within established strategies while executing independently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Familiarity with SEO analytics, reporting tools, and performance measurement
Nice-to-Have Experience
  • Exposure to AI-driven or generative search optimization (AEO/GEO concepts)
  • Experience evaluating UX/navigation for SEO discoverability improvements
  • Higher education marketing or other multi-brand ecosystem experience
