We are seeking a motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team and provide both remote and onsite support to our NYC clients.
Job Summary:
The IT Support Specialist will provide day-to-day remote technical support for end users, resolve helpdesk tickets, and assist with device, network, and application troubleshooting. While the role is primarily remote, you will also be dispatched to customer sites throughout NYC approximately 1–2 times per month for hands-on support, onsite troubleshooting, or project-related work.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of remote work and occasional field service, with exposure to multiple client environments.

The IT Support Specialist will provide day-to-day remote technical support for end users, resolve helpdesk tickets, and assist with device, network, and application troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote IT support to end users via phone, email, and remote support tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows and macOS devices, printers, mobile devices, and SaaS applications.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Support Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and other business productivity applications.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, wired, VPN, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Document all work performed in the MSP ticketing system (e.g., ConnectWise, ITGlue).
- Perform regular maintenance tasks including updates, patching, and endpoint security checks.
- Occasionally dispatch to client offices across NYC for onsite support, hardware replacement, network troubleshooting, or project tasks.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when necessary.
- Collaborate with the MSP team to ensure consistent service delivery across all clients.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service with every client interaction.
- 4+ years of IT support or helpdesk experience (MSP experience preferred but not required).
- Very Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows 10/11 and macOS.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support.
- Experience with Google Workspace administration and support
- Familiarity with common networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, switches).
- Experience with remote support tools (Teamviewer, NinjaOne, etc.)
- Experience with endpoint management tools (JAMF, Addigy, Microsoft Intune, etc)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to support non-technical users patiently.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Must be comfortable traveling onsite within New York City 1–2 times per month.
- Microsoft certifications are a plus.
- Primarily remote work (home-based).
- Occasional onsite visits in NYC (typically Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens).
- Standard Monday–Friday schedule with occasional flexibility for urgent issues.
