Marketing & Social Media Intern

Role Description

novi is looking for a marketing and social media intern to help us build our brand from the ground up. This role blends strategy and execution—you'll collaborate with the founders to shape our marketing, social, and community-building approach, and you'll produce the content that brings that strategy to life.

You'll help define our early voice, develop content across platforms, listen to GLP-1 communities, test ideas, review engagement, and help us learn what resonates. Everything you create will have a direct path to going live.

There is a strong opportunity for this internship to transition into a paid role as we grow.

Role Details

Hours: 10–15 per week
Duration: 8–12 weeks
Compensation: Unpaid; optional academic credit; strong potential to convert into a paid role
Location: Fully remote with weekly check-ins
Start Date: Flexible, ASAP preferred

You'll work on:

Helping shape our early marketing and social strategy
Creating content for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
Developing educational and product-focused posts
Researching and engaging wellness micro-influencers
Participating in GLP-1 communities to better understand patient needs
Reviewing analytics and helping guide our direction

Qualifications

You are:

A strong, clear writer
Comfortable creating content for social platforms (Instagram, TikTok)
Curious, proactive, and self-directed
Thoughtful and empathetic—especially toward people on health journeys
Able to use simple metrics to make decisions and iterate

Bonus experience:

Familarity with Figma, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with AI tools such as Midjourney or DALL-E
Running social accounts (personal or professional)
Interest in wellness, nutrition, or GLP-1 medications

No formal marketing experience is required—interest and initiative matter most.

novi was founded by two operators with deep experience across consumer brands, wellness, and health-tech. One founder has spent more than a decade building and scaling e-commerce and retail brands, helping grow businesses from zero into several-hundred-million-dollar omnichannel companies. The other comes from the health-tech and venture ecosystem, supporting companies innovating in digital health, metabolic care, and patient engagement. Together with a clinical pharmacist, they've developed formulations manufactured under cGMP standards in New Jersey—raising the bar for quality, safety, and transparency in the GLP-1 support space.
