Wireless Mobile Device Test Engineer (iOS, Android) 💰 Salary: $66,000 - 105,000 per year

📝 Rquirements

• Proven experience with Spirent or Eggplant automation tools.
• Expertise in mobile device testing across iOS and Android platforms.
• Proficient in logging tools such as QXDM and QCAT.
• Strong understanding of LTE and 5G RF/Core technologies.
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for bugs tracking and reporting.
• Previous experience in wireless/mobile device testing within OEM/MNO/MVNO frameworks is advantageous.
• Knowledge of SIM/eSIM technologies is preferred.
• Understanding of certification processes for wireless devices.
• Background in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years in product development, technical management, or QA roles.
• At least 3 years in mobile/wireless testing (including iOS, Android, LTE/5G).
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related engineering field.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, leadership, and documentation skills.

👩‍💻👨‍💻 Your responsibilities are

• Develop, execute, and oversee test plans for wireless devices and accessories.
• Conduct regression, certification, and ad hoc testing on iOS and Android platforms.
• Validate test results and aid in mobile release (MR/Security MR) certifications.
• Track and resolve defects using JIRA; document and report findings in Confluence.
• Perform software upgrades utilizing OEM tools.
• Collect and analyze logs (QXDM, QCAT) and provide troubleshooting assistance.
• Manage test samples, including activation, deactivation, upgrades, and monitoring.
• Execute field testing, device validation, and performance assessment on LTE/5G networks.
• Assist with SIM and eSIM testing as part of device certification workflows.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, OEMs, and certification stakeholders.
• Offer technical leadership, documentation, and suggestions for ongoing improvement.
