SEO Strategist

One Firefly is seeking a skilled, client-facing SEO Strategist to join our dynamic and growing team!

As our newest SEO Strategist, you'll shape the online visibility of a portfolio of clients (typically 20–25). Reporting to the SEO Team Lead, you'll lead the delivery of our SEO services—owning client communication and strategic direction across local, technical, on-site, and off-site SEO.

You'll collaborate with analysts, project managers, designers, and account managers to align strategy with execution through a team-first communication style. This role is ideal for someone who is polished on camera, calm under pressure, and highly organized while managing multiple concurrent priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment. You'll also help clients understand how SEO supports visibility in traditional search and AI-powered discovery (AI search and LLM-driven results), especially for local, service-based businesses.

Note: This is a full-time, remote-based (work from home) position; candidates should have access to reliable high-speed internet and a professional on-camera setup.

What You'll Do:

• Lead SEO strategy across the four pillars and connect it to AEO/AI search visibility
• Own client communication (monthly updates/calls, Loom videos) and lead quarterly performance reviews
• Support launch success through strategy calls and pre-launch campaign review calls
• Review and finalize analyst-prepared reports; present clear insights, recommendations, and next steps
• Build and manage content development and optimization calendars aligned to goals and performance data
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely execution, keep stakeholders aligned, and proactively flag risks early
• Analyze performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and leading SEO platforms
• Use AI tools (including ChatGPT and Gemini) to improve clarity, quality, and productivity—without over-investing time

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of SEO experience with a focus on local SEO and client-facing work
• Strong communication skills with comfort on video and in virtual meetings
• Experience managing multiple clients, deadlines, and content calendars
• Working proficiency with GA4, GSC, and SEO tools such as SEMrush (reporting platform experience is a plus)
• Existing, hands-on AI workflow experience (prompting, outlining, summarizing, refining) to accelerate delivery and elevate outputs
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and effective in a remote team environment
