Board-Certified Behavior Analyst

We’re partnering with a school district in Essex County, MA to hire a part-time Board-Certified Behavior Analyst for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.

In this role, you will provide specific behavioral support and consultation across multiple school sites for preschool, elementary, and middle school-aged students. You oversee a caseload of approximately 15 students, utilizing your skills to complete on functional behavior assessments, employ, behavior intervention plans, collect and analyze student data, and support and mentor behavior team members.

Position Details

• Location: In-person in Essex County, MA, no hybrid or remote options available. (travel required between school sites; mileage reimbursed)
• Guaranteed Hours: 10 hours per week
• Schedule: Part-time, specific working days flexible
• Expected Start Date: January 2026

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for students in preschool, elementary school, and middle school.
• Provide direct and consultative support to teachers and staff to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans
• Collect and analyze data to track student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education staff, related service providers, and administrators
• Deliver training and coaching for paraprofessionals and teachers on behavioral strategies and data collection
• Maintain documentation and compliance with district and state requirements

Qualifications

• Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
• Previous school-based BCBA experience strongly preferred
• Ability to travel between school sites within Essex County
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
