You will work alongside a diverse team of experts to develop and oversee large-scale cloud services utilizing cutting-edge machine learning technologies. Responsibilities
As a Generative AI Research Intern, you will spearhead the development of distributed, scalable, high-performance AI model training and serving systems in collaboration with our applied scientists and software engineers. Your role will involve optimizing model performance and scalability while building state-of-the-art systems in this fast-evolving field, significantly contributing to the future of Generative AI at Oracle, particularly in the realm of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Multi-modality Models.
What You'll Bring: (Objective Minimum Qualifications)
To qualify for this position, please ensure your application clearly reflects the following objective minimum qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Linguistics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, or another related technical field during the 2025-2026 school year.
- Experience in one area of computer science (e.g., Natural Language Understanding, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Algorithmic Foundations of Optimization, Data Science, etc.).
- Strong publication record, including as a lead author or reviewer, in top-tier journals or conferences.
- Expected graduation date of May 2027 or beyond.
- Reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US.
- Authorized to work in the US in 2026.
Other Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum GPA of 3.0

Salary Range: The range for this position is $19.62 to $53.00 per hour, translating to an annual salary between $40,800 and $110,240.
