Part-time Instructor of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Penn State Brandywine located in Media, PA seeks a Part-Time Instructor of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning starting in Spring 2024. Ideal candidates should be open to offering flexibility in course scheduling methods and course delivery.

The Artificial Intelligence course provides an overview of the foundations, problems, approaches, implementation, and applications of artificial intelligence. Topics covered include:

• Problem-solving
• Goal-based adversarial search
• Logical and probabilistic decision theory
• Knowledge representation
• Inference
• Decision-making
• Learning
• Programming assignments
• Sample topics for students to acquire an understanding of how to build rational agents of different sorts
• Applications of AI techniques in language processing, planning, and vision

The Machine Learning Algorithmic AI course covers the evaluation and use of machine learning models, algorithmic elements in artificial intelligence, and additional requirements.

Applicants should have a minimum earned Master's degree in Computer Science. Preference is given to candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level.
