Job Description

Using your strong expertise in Azure, your role will help create and maintain the core data foundation on the Azure Platform from which North American Analytics solutions will be built.

Your role

  • Collaborate with product team to translate business needs into technical specs.
  • Design, develop, and implement data solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Create and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and Azure Databricks.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability.
  • Monitor and optimize data solutions for performance and efficiency.

You're the right fit if

  • You’ve acquired 4+ years of experience in data engineering with Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Server.
  • Your skills include experience with data processing languages such as SQL, Python, and Scala as well as experience with agile methodologies on Azure DevOps and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
  • You have at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You enjoy data modeling, database design, cloud computing concepts and technology.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Tennessee is $89,000 to $141,000 annually.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Nashville, TN. USA
