What You'll Do
- Define and Build QFEX's Design System & Brand Identity\ Establish a cohesive visual language, component library, and interaction patterns tailored for a high-performance trading platform.
- Lead End-to-End Design\ Partner closely with frontend engineers to turn wireframes and prototypes into production-ready UI/UX.
- Institute a Continuous User Research & Feedback Loop\ Design and run usability studies, A/B tests, and in-platform analytics to validate hypotheses and uncover pain points.
- Establish Scalable Design Processes & Communication Channels\ Set up design tooling (Figma libraries, version control, documentation) and workflows (reviews, QA, accessibility checks).
- 3+ years designing high-performance, data-dense applications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end work: wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes.
- Experience setting up and synthesizing usability studies, A/B tests, analytics dashboards.
- Impeccable levels of trust in yourself and others, including the ability to make decisions in minutes, not days.
- UK work authorisation and willingness to work Monday–Friday from our central London office.
- Exposure to order-flow, market-data visualization, risk dashboards, or crypto exchanges.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React) to collaborate deeply with engineers.
- Track record of scaling design function rapidly and iterating under tight deadlines.
