Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) for a Social Media Manager based in New York, NY.


The Social Media Manager will be responsible for owning and nurturing client relationships while leading the execution of strategic social media initiatives from concept to completion. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution across all content formats.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining strong, professional client relationships
  • Developing, analyzing, and executing comprehensive social media strategies
  • Creating, editing, and designing high-performing content (video, Reels, TikToks, graphics, carousels)
  • Scheduling and optimizing content using Social Media Optimization (SMO) tactics
  • Analyzing performance metrics and adjusting strategy based on data insights
  • Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of all content shoots
  • Collaborating closely with team members to ensure cohesive brand storytelling and campaign alignment

Qualifications


  • 2–3 years of proven experience in social media marketing and content creation (agency experience preferred)
  • High Level Canva and Capcut Experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently manage client relationships
  • Experience developing and implementing data-driven content strategies
  • Experience with social media strategy for brands
  • Proficiency in video editing and graphic design
  • Excellent writing skills for crafting engaging, compelling, and on-brand social media copy
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics tools and performance tracking
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Experience assisting in and planning content shoots
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is a plus
