Role Overview

We, at Safe Haven Security, are seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to be a part of our team. As an Installation Technician / Security Advisor, you'll be pivotal in offering premium services to our clients through installation, maintenance, and solving any issues that arise in our residential security and automation systems. Your foremost aim is to ensure the efficient operation and optimal performance of security systems, offering our clients safety and peace of mind.

In this position, you will

• Implement installation of security systems, such as control panels, sensors, cameras, and related hardware.
• Engage in client consultations for sales, understanding their requirements and offering suitable security solutions.
• Identify and solve any technical problems related to the security systems of clients, determining root causes, and effecting suitable solutions to ensure proper operation.
• Execute exhaustive testing of the installed security systems to certify that all components are operating correctly and make modifications or repairs as needed.
• Train clients on the functional aspects and effective usage of their security systems, ensuring they're comfortable and knowledgeable in managing the equipment.
• Handle all required paperwork, incorporating installation records, service logs, and inventory accounts, maintaining precise and current documentation of all installations and repairs.
• Stay informed about updates in security systems, emerging technologies, and industry norms in a swiftly changing, and demanding work setting.

• The capability to obtain or already possess basic tools needed for the responsibilities of the job.
• Proficiency in all areas of installing, solving, and maintaining security systems, including control panels, sensors, cameras, and related hardware.
• Excellent interpersonal and communicative abilities to professionally interact with clients, offering clear guiding steps and addressing any queries or worries.
• The capability to quickly identify and resolve technical matters, using problem-solving skills to determine root causes and implement effective solutions.
