In the role of Security Guard, you will play an essential part in maintaining safety and security for our clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling various locations. You will uphold order by enforcing regulations and providing excellent customer service to clients’ employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Access Control: Manage entry to client sites, screen visitors, and assist employees and guests.
  • Customer Service: Offer courteous and professional interactions that enhance the client's image.
  • Monitoring: Observe entrances, exits, and access points; prevent unauthorized entry and manage disturbances calmly.
  • Patrolling: Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for safety hazards or violations.
  • Incident Response: Protect evidence, establish barriers, and respond to emergencies, including fire, medical incidents, or severe weather.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate logs, write reports, and communicate incidents to management and public safety authorities.
  • Property Protection: Ensure compliance with client policies regarding property removal.
  • Additional Duties: Complete other relevant tasks as required by the site.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma or GED (or willingness to obtain GED within six months).
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
  • Reliable communication and transportation.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screenings (drug test, background check).

Preferred Experience

  • Previous security or related experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing environments.

  • Capable of meeting local licensing requirements.

Working Conditions

  • Frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
  • Exposure to various environmental conditions.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Willingness to work overtime or respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Use of protective gear and adherence to safety procedures as necessary.
