Job Purpose
We are seeking experienced IT Desktop Support Engineer L2 to support a large-scale desk and monitor installation project. The engineers will be responsible for the physical setup, removal, and configuration of end-user desk equipment, ensuring seamless deployment with minimal disruption to business operations.

Job Purpose
We are seeking experienced IT Desktop Support Engineer L2 to support a large-scale desk and monitor installation project. The engineers will be responsible for the physical setup, removal, and configuration of end-user desk equipment, ensuring seamless deployment with minimal disruption to business operations.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Install and configure dual monitor setups (2 monitors per desk) for approximately 300+ desks.
- Set up one docking monitor with built-in webcam on the left and connect a secondary monitor on the right.
- Remove existing docks and ensure proper cable management.
- For desks with wireless keyboards/mice, relocate wireless adaptors into the new docking monitors to maintain functionality.
- Relocate and set up equipment from 23 desks to another floor (specific floor to be confirmed).
- Perform all installation and setup outside of office hours (evenings and weekends).
- Verify all devices are connected, powered, and functioning correctly post-installation.
- Maintain detailed records of completed installations and equipment moved.
- Follow company procedures for asset tagging and inventory updates.
- Ensure work is completed within project timelines and quality standards.
- 3+ years of experience in IT desktop support, hardware installation, or deployment projects.
- Strong understanding of desktop, monitor, and docking station configurations.
- Familiar with Windows OS and general end-user computing environments.
- Experience performing IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities.
- Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and cable management best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight timelines.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a coordinated team.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Must be available for after-hours and weekend shifts.
- Previous experience supporting large corporate office moves or mass hardware deployment.
- Experience with ServiceNow or other IT ticketing/asset management systems.
- Basic understanding of network connectivity and peripheral device setup.
