Position Summary
The SQL Reporting Intern will support data analysis and reporting initiatives by writing and optimizing SQL queries, generating reports, and assisting with data validation. This opportunity will provide hands-on experience in SQL reporting and data analysis as they relate to projects that will impact business decisions.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Write, test, and optimize SQL queries to extract data from various databases.
- Assist in generating scheduled and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with analysts and business units to understand reporting requirements.
- Help maintain and improve existing SQL reporting processes and documentation.
- Support data quality checks and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or other related field.
- Experience with Excel or other spreadsheet-based tool.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and related databases.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Strong attention to detail with analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to work both independent and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
