Role Overview
As the Global Brand Leader, Stoli & ELIT, you will be the strategic leader responsible for driving the global marketing vision, strategy, and execution for the bourbon and rum categories within our portfolio.
This role is pivotal in building the brand equity, driving growth, and positioning our bourbon products as leaders in the global spirits market. Operating in a remote capacity, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, regional markets, and external agencies to deliver impactful marketing initiatives aligned with our company's vision and objectives.
This is an exciting moment for the Stoli & ELIT brands as we relaunch it into the US and International markets. We are looking for a candidate with a deep understanding of the bourbon category and a natural affinity for ultra-premium brand-building, who can lead a long-term strategic repositioning of the brand and deliver an inspirational relaunch campaign, working closely with our teams in market to build a winning consumer proposition and in-market execution.
This role also plays a key role in the Stoli Group's Marketing Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Strategy Development:
- Define and lead the global marketing strategy for the brands, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
- Develop and implement brand positioning and messaging that resonates across diverse international markets.
2. Brand Management:
- Oversee the development of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, events, PR, and trade marketing initiatives.
- Ensure the consistency of brand identity and messaging across all touchpoints globally.
- Develop and execute exceptional brand plans to position the brand in the ideal channels for long-term growth
3. Innovation and Product Development:
- Identify and capitalize on trends in the bourbon and rum markets to create and launch new products that meet consumer demands.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and regional teams to develop product innovations and packaging enhancements.
4. Market Analysis and Insights:
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviours to identify growth opportunities.
- Use data-driven insights to inform strategy and measure the success of marketing activities.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with regional teams to adapt global strategies to local markets, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.
- Work closely with sales teams to align marketing initiatives with commercial objectives.
6. Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage the global marketing budget for the bourbon category, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Oversee external agencies and vendors, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
7. Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility:
Integrate sustainability and corporate responsibility into brand narratives and marketing strategies, aligning with company values.
Required Qualifications
1. Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years focused on the spirits or premium beverage industry.
- Experience in ultra-premium or luxury industry
- Proven success in global brand management, including product launches and international campaign development.
2. Skills & Competencies:
- Deep understanding of the bourbon category, including consumer trends and competitive dynamics.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and collaboration abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media strategy, and analytics tools.
3. Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with the US and global spirits industries, including distribution channels, regulatory considerations, and consumer behaviours across key markets.
4. Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a remote work environment.
- Strong cultural awareness and ability to adapt strategies for diverse markets.
