Graphic Designer and Point of Sale Admin
Tesco IrelandAs a part of the Marketing Function the Graphic designer and POS Admin role develops and maintains engaging and consistent brand and trade communication and its implementation across all platforms including point of sale, national advertising, trade magazines and digital. The role also supports the day to day setting up and approval of Point of Sale. The role contributes to the success of Tesco by aiding in the delivery of Point of Sale campaigns, developing platforms for local Irish campaigns and evolving the content to stay current whilst still supporting the unique image, identity and brands of Tesco. The role is supported by the wider POS and design team colleagues.
Creation of print orders for point-of sale campaigns, working on approvals with the buying team stakeholders, maintenance of space database for POS and creation of store briefs for POS.
Linking with various teams including stores to help with queries.
Working with a range of software programs including InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and basic Excel.
Developing brand and trade communication content across all platforms, working on a wide variety of projects rotating between above-the-line print advertising, point of sale and digital assets. All communications to maintain the Tesco brand, image and identity.
Undertaking proofreading to ensure accurate and high-quality work before sharing with stakeholders.
Collaborating with commercial suppliers, when required, to ensure adherence to Tesco brand guidelines / seasonal toolkits.
Working collaboratively with colleagues within and outside own function and develop and actively maintain positive relationships across the Tesco business in Ireland.
Adhering to all Tesco policies and guidance.

- A portfolio that demonstrates a strong creative ability.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles.
- Experience using InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator
- Basic Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Good organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to handle multiple jobs and work to tight deadlines
- The ability to work well in a team, to share workload and to communicate ideas and solutions.
