Public Safety Security Supervisor Position Summary

Supervises the daily activities of Protection Services Department and pay parking. Recommends and supports goals and objectives that are consistent with the mission statement of Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Delivers exceptional quality and service to all patients and other customers. Through a constant pursuit of excellence and respect for every individual, fosters an environment of participation, teamwork and professional growth.

Public Safety Security Supervisor Position Requirements

Education

High School graduate or equivalent
One year of College or University course work in Criminal Justice is preferred

Experience

Four years of supervisory experience in law enforcement, corrections, military, or hospital-based security required.
Three (3) years Healthcare Security experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license and verification of insurability under TidalHealth’s automobile insurance plan.
Must be able to successfully undergo a comprehensive background and character investigation.
Current CPR Heart Saver or Community CPR certification (AHA only)

Public Safety Security Supervisor Schedule

Exempt position, primarily day shift, other shifts as needed or assigned.

Public Safety Security Supervisor Benefits

At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
