Position Overview
JOB DESCRIPTION
Tiffany & Co. is seeking a Software Development Intern to join our IT team. This internship provides hands-on experience with modern development tools, databases, and cloud technologies, while contributing to real-world projects that support our core business operations. You will collaborate with experienced developers and subject matter experts, gaining exposure to the full software development lifecycle.
This position is based out of the Whippany, New Jersey office. The pay rate for this role is $25/hr.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop, test, and maintain web and cloud applications using .NET(C#) technologies and Azure, while contributing to small projects and process improvements.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and subject matter experts in Agile meetings to understand requirements and deliver solutions
  • Participate in small projects and implement enhancements to improve business processes and efficiency.
  • Engage in knowledge-sharing sessions to learn team development practices and best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including process notes and reference mappings.
  • Assist with basic SQL queries and database troubleshooting as needed.
  • Gain practical experience across the full software development lifecycle, from planning and prototyping to deployment.
Required Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's IT, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of .NET (C#), SQL Server, and object-oriented programming.
  • Familiarity with debugging tools in Visual Studio or similar IDE.
  • Understanding of SDLC concepts and software documentation basics.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to ASP.NET Core / Web API.
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework (EF Core) for database interactions.
  • Basic Git/GitHub usage for version control.
  • Interest in technical writing or documentation.
