Fullstack Software Developer

Magnit Direct Sourcing on behalf of Toyota is currently hiring a Fullstack Software Developer for a temporary assignment in Plano, TX.
This is a 12 month contract position. The pay range for this role is between $70/hr - $80/Hr. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K.

What We’re Looking For

• Full stack engineers with strong backend foundations and the ability to contribute immediately.
• Professionals who can work confidently across frontend frameworks and API-driven architectures.
• Engineers comfortable operating in a cloud-first, integration-heavy development environment.
• Individuals with strong technical depth, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic build-from-scratch project.
  

What You’ll Be Doing

• Contributing to the end-to-end development of a new enterprise application built from the ground up.
• Designing and implementing backend services, REST APIs, and integrations with internal and SaaS-based systems.
• Developing user-facing components using modern JavaScript frameworks and ensuring high-quality, scalable interfaces.
• Working with relational and NoSQL databases to support application data needs.
• Supporting deployments and development activities across cloud environments.
• Collaborating with technical leads to deliver high-quality, maintainable code aligned with project milestones.
  

Qualifications/ What You Bring (Must Haves)

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot development (required).
• Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks—VueJS preferred; React or Angular acceptable.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Postgres and MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, integration patterns, and microservices-oriented design.
• Cloud experience with AWS (Azure/GCP also considered).
• Ability to work across both frontend and backend components; slightly backend-heavy experience is acceptable.
  

Added Bonus If You Have (Preferred)

• Experience with Hibernate or similar ORM frameworks.
• Exposure to data engineering concepts, including Python and data pipeline tools (for data-focused roles).
• Experience with PrimeVue or other modern component libraries.
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and architectural design skills.
