Job Title: Android Developer

Location: Columbus, OH - Onsite

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Kotlin and Java
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
• Experience using Jira and Confluence
• Strong understanding of Unit Testing and best practices
• Experience with MVVM architecture
• Knowledge of Gradle (versions 1 & 2)

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages
• Strong knowledge of software applications and technical processes
• In-depth expertise in one or more technical domains such as mobile development, cloud, AI, or machine learning
• Ability to work independently and solve complex design and functionality issues with minimal oversight
• Practical cloud-native experience
• Educational background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the mobile application team to set up monitoring and resolve production issues and crashes
• Assist with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and ensure timely bug fixes
• Clearly communicate issue resolutions and next steps
• Perform mobile testing including unit testing, automation testing, and debugging on emulators and physical devices
• Conduct application profiling for memory, thread, and heap analysis across devices and simulators
• Work effectively with large codebases, shared resources, and libraries
• Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of one or more mobile applications
