IT Security Engineer

A company is looking for an IT Security Engineer to manage the security of the IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administers security infrastructure, including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion prevention systems

Investigates and resolves incident tickets while ensuring compliance with security configurations

Conducts risk assessments and assists in achieving security certifications

Required Qualifications

Associate Degree in Computer Science preferred

Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT engineering

Strong knowledge of hardware, software, database, operating systems, and networking technologies

Ability to work with confidential information and demonstrate maturity and responsibility

Experience with risk assessments and compliance control reviews
