Principal AI Engineer

A company is looking for a Principal AI Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Design and build durable, production-grade generative AI systems for mental healthcare

Define system architecture and set technical standards for safety, reliability, and performance

Act as a technical multiplier for engineering teams, ensuring scalable and impactful AI solutions

Required Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience, including 7+ years with Public Cloud and 5+ years designing distributed systems

5+ years of deep experience in Python and at least one backend language (JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Go)

2+ years of experience building AI-powered products at scale with foundation models

2+ years of experience with LLM integration patterns or AI orchestration frameworks

3+ years of experience in MLOps, data pipelines, and continuous model improvement
