Security Engineer - Cybersecurity

A company is looking for a Security Engineer - Cybersecurity Posture, Hygiene & AI Enablement (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement security controls and solutions to enhance security hygiene

Collaborate with IT and other departments to align security measures with organizational goals

Utilize enterprise tools for vulnerability management and develop custom integrations for proactive monitoring

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree and at least 4 years of experience

Strong understanding of the Center for Internet Security Critical Security Controls, specifically the CIS 18 framework

Working knowledge in configuring operating systems such as Windows Servers, Windows Desktops, and Red Hat Linux

Proficient in scripting languages, including Python, Bash, and / or PowerShell

Understanding of corporate standards regarding applicable policies and compliance
