Senior Counsel, Data Security

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, Data Security & Governance to provide legal guidance on data protection and governance.

Key Responsibilities

Advise on global data protection, governance, and cybersecurity requirements

Partner with Information Security to support governance of security programs aligned with industry standards

Provide legal oversight for third-party risk management and support product teams with privacy and security guidance

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution

Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

5+ years of relevant legal experience in privacy, data protection, or cybersecurity

Experience counseling cross-functional teams in technology-driven environments

Familiarity with information security and governance frameworks (e.g., ISO, NIST, SOC 2)
