WRS is a medical device company headquartered in Ann Arbor, MI. We offer multi-modal post-op pain management for orthopedic excellence. We focus on systems that improve patient recovery and practice management. We do all of this while combating the Opioid Epidemic. We are located in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor, MI and we are looking for a freelance social media marketing specialist. Prefer candidates in Michigan.

You will play a key role in creating our brand voice and developing and executing a content marketing plan across multiple social media channels. You will be responsible for helping us tell our story and the stories of our patients. This is an excellent opportunity to help a mission-driven company grow.

What You'll Do

• Create engaging content and campaigns for various social media outlets including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
• Post regular updates across social media platforms
• Manage all social media accounts and use them to build connections that engage target audience and increase sales
• Cultivate online and offline relationships with influencers in the orthopedic excellence and injury recovery spaces
• Build brand awareness through tactics that take into account our current footprint and growth plans
• Perform market research to understand messaging effectiveness to evolve our brand and social media marketing touchpoints
• Present ideas to senior leaders about social media marketing programs and strategies
• Demonstrate performance aligned with WRS guiding principles, including caring, collaboration, trustparency, and innovation

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications Business, or a related field
• 3+ years of social media marketing experience (ideally experience in content marketing and working on a brand from an early stage)
• Proven experience developing social media strategy and content development
• Storytelling chops and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Graphic design and basic video editing experience
• Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
• Ability to break down complex concepts and explain them simply
• Deadline driven-you can move fast to create high quality content in an evolving environment
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work with little to no supervision
