Job Summary

The Social Media Manager is a vital member of the Sotheby’s International Realty brand team who will lead strategy and management of the brand’s social media platforms and content marketing efforts, ultimately contributing to our global audience growth and awareness.

This role requires a proactive, analytical thinker with an editorial mindset who can align with key internal stakeholders to creatively solve for the brand’s social media marketing and content marketing needs. The ideal candidate is always looking for what’s next in social media and thrives in a fast-paced environment, is a natural storyteller and is always looking for the best way to tell it—whether that’s an Instagram Live, a Twitter thread, or a TikTok series.

As the Social Media Manager, you will have access to senior leadership as well as a network of 26,000 sales professionals from around the world who would rely on you for best practices and digital leadership. This role will work closely with the PR and marketing departments and act as a social media evangelist within the company.

Key Responsibilities

Focus on delivering creative social-first content to increase followers, reach, and engagement across our core social channels.

Identify efficient ways to build and/or curate still and video content for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, etc.

Act as community manager for all brand social media platforms; moderating all engagements.

Identify cultural connections with the brand and outline ways of engaging in the social conversations.

Partner with cross-functional teams to bring company-wide marketing campaigns to life.

Continually explore new channels for Sotheby’s International Realty to use to grow our social media reach.

Serve as educator to network of agents and affiliates, teaching best practices for leveraging social media to drive business objectives at a local level.

Assist in social media ad creation and performance measurement with the ability to provide strategic insight into strategy recommendations based on data and analytics.

Aid in managing external creative agencies regarding social strategy, advertising, and various branding projects.

Lead reporting efforts related to paid and organic media.

Qualifications

BS degree in marketing or relevant field.

4-5 years of experience managing social media, in-house on the brand/enterprise level.

Experience working in all major social platforms, including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, and TikTok, and threads.

Proven track record of engaging, efficient and newsworthy social media content.

Competent in using social media tools and DAMs (E.g. Loomly, Curalate, Sprinklr, Sprout, Dash Hudson, etc).

Familiarity with digital marketing tools including Adobe Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads & Business Manager a plus.

Is analytical and highly curious and creative, continually striving to improve his/her skills in the constantly evolving digital and media space; understands how to capture social media insights and apply that to the needs of the business.

Possesses strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple, simultaneous priorities.

Outstanding attention to detail, with a commitment to operational excellence.

Excellent copywriting skills.

Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally across various levels of colleagues at the firm, building appropriate rapport, using diplomacy and tact.

Has a positive, can-do attitude and wants to be part of a critical team. * Luxury real estate or luxury brand experience a plus.

Compensation Range

$75,000 - $80,000 ; At Anywhere, actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
