Job description: Social Media Coordinator
Our client is seeking to hire a full-time Social Media Coordinator to become an integral part of their team. This position is a permanent and full-time position with flexibility and opportunity for growth and development for the right individual.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and customer care strategies through the use of social media, The ideal candidate will also have previous experience in videography along with copywriting/editing skills and a strong grammatical skill set.
PRIMARY DUTIES
● Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies for specific clients
● Manage and oversee social media content
● Stay current with the latest social media best practices and technologies
● Define the most important social media KPIs
● Track metrics on the audience, content views, and competitors
● Write, develop, and strategize for online content production and scheduling
● Work with the client and creative team to determine client needs and project specifications
● Work within timelines and deadlines for project completion dates
● Content creation for social media channels including, photography, videography, and editing to facilitate
● Understanding influencer and content marketing.
● Provide a positive client experience
ABOUT YOU
● At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
● Excellent knowledge of YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google My Business, Tic Tok, and other social media platforms.
● Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
● Familiarity with web design and publishing
● Strong understanding of content writing for social media
● Experience using graphic design programs including Photoshop, Canva, or similar
● Experiencing using SocialPilot or other publishing platforms.
● Experience using Microsoft and Google platforms.
● BS degree in Marketing or related field or comparable job experience

● Advanced writing, spelling, and grammatical skills

ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE
Climate-controlled office environment.
Full-time position
Hours: Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm (flexibility available)
