Senior Android Software Engineer

What You'll Do
- Lead the discovery phase of impactful Mobile Engineering projects, collaborating with diverse teams to develop a robust project strategy and securing cross-functional approvals.
- Troubleshoot issues with mobile devices, leveraging expert knowledge to analyze problems and implement effective solutions, including root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
- Provide engineering support by addressing user inquiries and facilitating resolutions across technical challenges, aiming for both short- and long-term solutions.
- Oversee small project teams, guiding the execution of mobile engineering projects by establishing timelines and handling project-related challenges, including design and code reviews.
- Manage medium- to large-scale mobile projects by translating user requirements into multifaceted solutions, writing and developing code, ensuring functionality across different operating systems, and communicating project progress effectively.
- Apply contemporary expertise to enhance action plans and provide guidance to team members, aligning efforts with customer and business requirements.
- Foster stakeholder relationships, identifying business needs and implementing necessary processes to achieve strategic goals.
- Model adherence to company policies and values, integrating ethics and integrity into all business interactions and practices.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Android development.
- 2+ years of programming experience in Kotlin.
- 1+ years of experience with ARKit/ARCore and Core Vision/ML Kit.
- In-depth knowledge of Mobile App Development and experience with REST APIs.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and mentor fellow engineers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a keen analytical mindset.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience in building Augmented Reality applications using Unity or other AR SDKs.
- Familiarity with Mixed Reality/Virtual Reality platforms (Holo Lens, Gear, Oculus, Vive, Rift).
- Proficiency in 3D Modeling tools such as Maya and Blender.
- Background in Game Design, 3D modeling, or 3D Computer Graphics is a plus.
