About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Auditor - Electrical to perform inspections, audits, and verification of electrical systems and components in our manufacturing operations. This role ensures that all electrical products meet company quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-process and final inspections of electrical assemblies, wiring, and components.
  • Audit manufacturing processes for compliance with NEC, IEC, and company standards.
  • Document inspection findings and maintain accurate NCR (Non-Conformance Report) logs.
  • Verify that electrical testing and verification processes are followed correctly.
  • Support root cause analysis and assist with corrective and preventive action tracking.
  • Audit supplier-delivered electrical parts for compliance with UL, CSA, and NRTL requirements.
  • Participate in ISO 9001 internal audits and quality system reviews.
  • Work closely with QA Engineers and Supervisors to escalate and resolve non-conformances.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or associate degree in a technical field (Electrical Technology preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in quality inspection or auditing within an electrical manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001, IPC) and inspection processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency with electrical inspection tools (multimeters, insulation testers).
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
  • OSHA 10/30-Hour Electrical Safety
  • IPC-A-610 or IPC-A-620
