Our client is seeking an innovative and highly skilled AI Research Scientist specializing in Generative Models to join their cutting-edge research team, working remotely from anywhere in the US. This role is at the forefront of AI innovation, focusing on developing and advancing state-of-the-art generative artificial intelligence techniques. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background, proven research experience, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of what's possible with AI.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct cutting-edge research in generative AI, including but not limited to GANs, VAEs, diffusion models, and transformer-based generative architectures. Develop novel algorithms and models to generate realistic and high-quality data, such as images, text, code, and audio. Design and execute experiments to evaluate model performance, identify areas for improvement, and validate new approaches. Collaborate with a team of world-class researchers and engineers to translate research findings into practical applications. Publish research findings in top-tier AI conferences and journals. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Contribute to the development of robust and scalable AI systems and infrastructure. Mentor junior researchers and interns, fostering a collaborative and innovative research environment. Work with product teams to integrate research advancements into future product offerings. Explore ethical considerations and potential biases in generative models and propose mitigation strategies. Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the capabilities of new AI models. Qualifications: Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field. 3+ years of research experience in generative AI, with a strong publication record in reputable venues. Deep understanding of deep learning theory and practical experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). Expertise in developing and training various types of generative models (GANs, VAEs, Diffusion Models, Transformers). Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI research, such as Python. Strong mathematical background in linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and lead research projects. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts. Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed computing is a plus. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is beneficial.
