Responsibilities
Conduct advanced research in areas such as deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and other AI domains. Develop novel algorithms, models, and methodologies to solve complex problems and push the boundaries of AI capabilities. Design and implement experiments to validate research hypotheses and evaluate model performance. Publish research findings in top-tier academic conferences and journals. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate research prototypes into production systems. Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the overall scientific direction of the team. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning research worldwide. Propose and lead new research initiatives and grant proposals. Contribute to the development of intellectual property and patents. Present research findings to internal stakeholders and external audiences. Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field. 10+ years of post-doctoral research experience in AI/ML, with a significant publication record. Demonstrated expertise in one or more subfields of AI, such as deep learning (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers), NLP, or computer vision. Proficiency in programming languages like Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX. Strong theoretical foundation in statistics, probability, and linear algebra. Proven ability to design and execute complex research projects from conception to completion. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts. Experience leading research teams or projects is highly desirable. Familiarity with large-scale data processing and distributed computing environments.
