Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and refine the company's AI ethics and governance framework, policies, and procedures. Conduct ethical risk assessments for new and existing AI systems, identifying potential biases, fairness issues, and privacy concerns. Collaborate with AI research and development teams to integrate ethical considerations into the entire AI lifecycle, from design to deployment and monitoring. Advise on the responsible use of data in AI, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Stay informed about global AI regulations, industry best practices, and emerging ethical challenges. Develop training programs and educational materials to raise awareness and build capacity in AI ethics and responsible innovation across the organization. Engage with external stakeholders, including policymakers, researchers, and industry groups, on AI ethics and governance matters. Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to monitor adherence to AI ethics policies and assess the effectiveness of governance controls. Facilitate cross-functional working groups to address complex ethical dilemmas and develop practical solutions. Contribute to the development of AI governance tools and technologies. Serve as a subject matter expert on AI ethics and responsible innovation for internal and external audiences. Promote a culture of ethical awareness and accountability throughout the organization regarding AI. Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Ethics, Philosophy, Law, Computer Science, Public Policy, or a related discipline with a focus on AI ethics. Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI ethics, responsible innovation, risk management, or technology policy, with a significant focus on artificial intelligence. In-depth knowledge of AI technologies, machine learning concepts, and their societal implications. Familiarity with key ethical frameworks, principles, and standards related to AI. Understanding of relevant legal and regulatory landscapes concerning AI and data privacy. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Experience in developing and implementing policies and governance frameworks. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting. Experience working in a fast-paced technology environment is highly desirable.
