Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Technical Program Manager with expertise in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to join their innovative team, operating remotely. This role is pivotal in driving the planning, execution, and delivery of complex AI/ML initiatives from concept to production. You will collaborate closely with engineering, data science, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure successful program outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in AI/ML, coupled with exceptional program management skills and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:Defining program scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria for AI/ML projects. Developing detailed program plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies. Leading and coordinating cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and product managers. Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML programs, from ideation and research to development, deployment, and ongoing optimization. Identifying and mitigating program risks and dependencies, proactively addressing potential roadblocks. Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among all program stakeholders. Ensuring adherence to best practices in software development, MLOps, and data science methodologies. Tracking program progress, managing milestones, and reporting status to senior leadership. Driving continuous improvement in program management processes and team performance. Translating complex technical concepts into clear, concise communications for diverse audiences. Evaluating and recommending appropriate AI/ML technologies and tools. Fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team environment. Managing program budgets and vendor relationships where applicable. Staying abreast of the latest advancements and trends in AI, ML, and related fields. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field, with significant experience in managing AI/ML programs. Proven experience with agile development methodologies and familiarity with MLOps principles are essential. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are required. This remote role requires strong self-management and the ability to drive complex technical projects without direct supervision, contributing to the cutting-edge AI/ML advancements from anywhere.
