What You Can Expect
Primary responsibility will be to repair and troubleshoot medical electro-mechanical products and equipment. Will, at times, be required to deal directly with product customers. This is a full-time, onsite position located at our Dover, Ohio facility.
How You'll Create Impact
- Diagnose product malfunctions, perform routine, non-routine and often highly specialized tests, calibrations, and repairs on all orthopedic products using various hand tools and testing equipment.
- Assists in training for new service personnel.
- Ensure proper function of equipment in accordance to technical manuals;Troubleshoot and replace faulty materials.
- Document customer repairs and maintain accurate device history files in approved systems.
- Communicate with customers with information on the repair performed as well as provide any basic technical support needed.
- Move/lift/rearrange heavy items up to 50 lb; standing for extended period, crouching, kneeling etc.

- Read, understand, and follow detailed procedures.
- Must have proven ability to meet workmanship standards relative to soldering techniques, use of hand tools, and testing equipment.
- Ability to analyze and understand disrepancies while interpreting test data and documenting test results.
- Self-motivated and strong ability to prioritize, time manage, and communicate effectively.
- Experience training other technicians in the performance of product repairs.
- Component-level troubleshooting skills.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting using basic electronic test equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
