Must-Have Technical Expertise

• Hybrid & Native Mobile Architecture for iOS and Android
• Ionic + Capacitor + Apache Cordova (critical for hybrid app development)
• Native Languages:
• Swift (iOS)
• Java 1.8+ (Android)
• Architecture Patterns:
• MVC, MVVM, Clean / Hexagonal Architecture
• Experience designing scalable mobile frameworks
• API & Data Communication:
• RESTful APIs, JSON
• GraphQL (query design, integration understanding)
• Mobile Security:
• OWASP Mobile Top 10
• Secure storage, encryption, authentication, and risk mitigation
• App Lifecycle:
• Hands-on experience with App Store & Play Store submission processes
• Mobile release governance

Good to Have / Preferred

• Kotlin (Android) & Objective-C (iOS)
• CI/CD for Mobile: Jenkins, Fastlane, GitHub Actions
• Cloud Mobile Backend: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

• BFSI (Banking/Financial Services) domain exposure
• High-traffic consumer mobile app delivery experience

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical vision and long-term mobile architecture roadmap
• Identify modernization opportunities:
• Simplification
• Consolidation
• Performance improvements
• Scalable, secure mobile foundations
• Document and enforce mobile architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices
• Lead architecture governance through design reviews, approvals, and peer validation
• Build and oversee hybrid and native mobile solutions ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance
• Participate hands-on in coding, debugging, and troubleshooting complex technical challenges when needed
• Design seamless integrations with backend APIs, third-party SDKs, and microservices
• Ensure mobile applications meet:
• Performance benchmarks
• Security compliance
• Architectural alignment
• Work closely with Product Managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and enterprise stakeholders
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams
• Drive cross-functional alignment to deliver defect-free, high-performance mobile applications
• Stay updated on emerging mobile technologies, security risks, and industry trends
